THE ROLE
We are looking for professionals to help us continue to drive innovation, making an impact on the reliability, tooling, performance, and scalability of Farfetch industry-leading technology.
You must have a DevOps mindset obsessed with automation, scalability, and infrastructure reliability.

We develop and support tooling, always with performance and visibility on top of our priorities.
The Performance Team introduces processes, and performance methodologies to operate on top of the FARFETCH platform, across multiple datacenters.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design, develop, implement and manage tools to empower other teams on FARFETCH;
  • Operate and maintain our code/applications/processes using always automation;
  • Cooperate with other teams to assure the technical feasibility of the scope of the projects;
  • Package and deploy different products to a multi-datacenter production environment using a CI/CD approach.

REQUIREMENTS

WHO YOU ARE
  • Graduated or higher in Computer Science or another technical discipline, or related practical experience;
  • An expert in Python back-end development;
  • Previous experience working as a react.js developer.
  • Knowledgeable of REST APIs;
  • Someone passionate about code quality;
  • A person that stays on top of all the best practices of modern software development;
  • Experienced in NoSQL databases, considered a plus;
  • A professional with experience working with Agile methodologies and a product development mindset is also a plus;
  • Someone with skills in writing and keeping comprehensive and accurate product documentation updated;
  • Someone who is autonomous and able to make important technical decisions that will have a positive impact;
  • Excellent communicator and keen on complex problem solving.
